Our very own collaboration with Black Button Distilling. Idyll in Paradise is based on a wonderful gin I found in Malta, but could not get imported for us. Being a stubborn sort, I decided if I could not BUY the gin, I'd have someone MAKE it instead. And so this soft. seductive blend of rhubarb, fresh ginger, and pink peppercorn came to be. For me, this gin is reminiscent of cruising impossibly blue waters, then returning to port for a crisp G&T. (Gin & Ginger, Gin on the rocks with a twist...the variations are endless). If you've always thought you didn't like gin, this fruit- and spice-forward gin will change your mind. If you already love gin, this will be your new favorite. Seriously, it will. Kudos to Jay, Jason, and the rest of the crew at Black Button for nailing this. And remember: this is ours and ours alone.
