This wine is from Bolgheri, Tuscany’s sun-soaked coast. Close your eyes, and I swear you can feel the sunshine on your face. Then inhale-that deep plum-blackberry-and smoke aroma is heavenly, no?
The taste is even more lovely: dusty plum, black cherry and mocha, warm vanilla oak and spice. It’s full and rich and plush and sexy as can be. And no wonder, because this wine is from the storied estate of Guado al Tasso. If modern Tuscany had royalty, this would be it. 100% Merlot, but listen up: don’t hate on this Merlot. Savor it. Then wish you had some more.
