Negroni Kit

The Negroni Cocktail was purportedly created in Florence, Italy at Caffe Cassoni in 1919 when Count Camillo Negroni asked his favorite bartender to ‘strengthen’ his Americano cocktail. The bartender replaced soda water with straight gin, and the rest is (delicious) history. A Negroni is one part gin, one part vermouth rosso, and one part Campari. It is considered an aperitivo, something to start your evening out right. A traditionally made Negroni is stirred, not shaken, and built over ice in an old-fashioned or rocks glass. You can garnish it with an orange slice, if you like. This kit contains 1 mini bottle each of Drumshanbo Distillery’s Gunpowder Gin, Campari, and Carpano Antica Vermouth Rosso. Pour them over ice and stir. Cheers!
