2020 Rose Sixpack #3

7 in stock

It’s time-time for another rosé sixpack, that is! Now introducing: the 2020* Rosé Sixpack, V3.0

Start off with the Holloran Rosé of Pinot Noir. Pure lissome grace and freshness, it’s the epitome of Oregon Pinot, in rosé form. Move on to the Tormaresco Calafuria Rosato, a bold wine that can easily handle burgers, pizza, etc while still drinking like pure silk. Next up, the Domaine Miraflors Lafage, for a taste of pure southern French style. Strawberry, raspberry, then citrus and mineral for days. Yum.

Next up: sunny Spain! Liquid Geography donates 50% of its profits each year to a different ocean-themed charity. This year’s recipient is Wellfleet Shellfish Promotion and Tasting, and the 2020 wine is a blend of Tempranillo and Prieto Picudo, loaded with flavors of pomegranate and wild plum. Then to California, where Bedrock’s Morgan Twain Peterson (son of Joel Peterson of Ravenswood fame) is making a liquid hommage to Lulu Peyraud and the great Domaine Tempier. Old vine Grenache and Mourvedre, equal parts muscular and ethereal. Then finish it off with a classic: Commanderie de la Bargemone. Founded by the Knights Templar in the 13th century, Bargemone today consists of 160 sustainably farmed acres. Aromas and flavors of red currant and wild strawberry, and a finish fresh as a sea breeze. Honestly, most Provencal rosé is just trying to be this. Why not just drink the original.

As always, your six bottles will be packed into a reusable Pour Richard’s logo tote, the easier to carry a few bottles on a picnic. Your corkscrew and a couple glasses will easily fit, too, so enjoy! Cheers!

*It’s 2021, but 2020 is the current rosé vintage.
