'They look too exciting for so early in the evening'.
A Matter of Taste
Why should you taste wine (beer, spirits, etc)?
By way of an answer, I have a better question: Why NOT? Unless you do not like experiencing delicious beverages, you’ve already learned all there is to know about these categories, and/or you are uninterested in trying anything new, tastings are the single best way to expand your beverage horizons.
Also, they’re a whole lot of fun.
Fun-do you remember fun? Engaging in spontaneous activities meant to be enjoyed? Not a big feature of the last 13 months, but we’re ready to change that; we’re dipping a toe into the metaphorical pool and holding a small, safety-first indoor wine tasting.
The one and only Sheri Carl will be behind the bottles. Plexiglass shields will be in front of the bottles. Cups will be disposable. We’ll be controlling the traffic flow. Masks need to stay in place until you step to the side to taste your wine. All of these measure are meant to keep you (and us) as safe as possible.
But think: a WINE tasting. We’ll have some Carol Shelton, some new Portuguese wines, a brace of delicious, crisp rosés, and more…something for everyone, really. Tasting is free and open to the public. Wines poured will be at a generous discount that day. Fun will definitely be had.
We’re looking forward to seeing you; it’s been too long.
