Byron Kosuge helped to put Saintsbury (and Carneros) Pinot Noir on the map before starting his own winery in 2004. Byron is a lovely and humble man who claims not to be a 'rockstar winemaker'. We disagree. His Pinot Noir and Chardonnay (and-if we're lucky-Syrah) are incredibly lovely. If you love the silkiness of classic Sonoma, look no further. In addition to pouring and explaining his wines, Byron will sign bottles, which make fabulous Dad or Grad gifts. Tasting is free. All wines in limited supply.
When I'm in the mood for a really killer workout, I head toward Soulcycle. It's not convenient.
